Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 05-10-2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ADHD Planner, developed by DreamTeam Mobile ("we", "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect
Tasks and App Data: The tasks you create, their estimates, the time they actually took, focus sessions, and your settings are stored in a database on your device. Completed tasks are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically.
App Identifier and Google Sign-In Data: ADHD Planner does not offer account registration, and you do not need to create an account or provide a name, email, or password to use it. When you first use a feature that needs our servers, the app is assigned a random anonymous identifier through Firebase Authentication, with no name or email attached. Optionally, you can sign in with your existing Google account; in that case we receive your Google account's email address, name, and Google identifier, and link them to that app identifier.
Text You Send for AI Processing: When you ask the app to sort a brain dump, the text of that brain dump is sent to our server. When you open time-pattern insights, the titles of your completed tasks are sent — titles only, with no estimates, durations, or timestamps. See section 3.
Voice Input: The microphone is used only while you dictate a brain dump after tapping the microphone button. Speech is converted to text by the speech recognition service on your device (for example, Google's), which may process audio on its own servers under its own privacy policy. We do not receive, record, or store audio — only the resulting text that you choose to submit.
Usage Data: Firebase Analytics collects information about how the app is used — screens viewed, features used, counts and durations (for example, how many tasks were created or how long a focus session ran) — together with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier and general device information. It does not include the text of your tasks or brain dumps.
Crash and Diagnostic Data: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports, including device model, operating system version, and the app state at the time of the crash.
Device and Security Data: Firebase App Check uses Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests come from a genuine copy of the app. Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device token to deliver notifications, and Firebase Remote Config receives basic device information to deliver app configuration.
Payment Information: Purchases are handled by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We never receive or store payment card details — only the status of your subscription, the product purchased, and an app user identifier.

2. How We Use Information
To provide the app's features, including turning brain dumps into tasks and grouping completed tasks into categories; to link your purchases across devices if you sign in with Google; to verify your subscription status; to send the reminders and focus-session notifications you set up; to keep our servers protected from abuse; to fix crashes; and to improve app performance and usability. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use the content of your tasks for analytics.

3. AI Processing
Brain dump sorting and time-pattern insights are processed by OpenAI's API through our Firebase Cloud Functions. The text is sent together with a one-way hashed version of the app identifier, used only to prevent abuse; your name and email are never sent. We do not store the text on our servers once the result is returned. Under OpenAI's API data policies, data sent through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models and may be retained by OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. These features run only when you use them. Avoid including sensitive personal information, such as health details about yourself or others, in text you send for processing.

4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf: Google (Firebase Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, App Check, and Google Play), OpenAI (AI processing described in section 3), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law.

5. Data Retention
Tasks and settings stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app; completed tasks are deleted automatically after 12 months. If Android device backup is enabled on your device, app data may be included in your device's backup to your Google account under Google's policies. Google sign-in data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Analytics and crash data are retained according to Firebase's default retention periods.

6. Deleting Your Data
To delete the data stored on your device, delete your tasks in the app or uninstall it. To delete the data linked to the app identifier on our side — including your email address and name if you signed in with Google — email support+adhdplanner@dreamteam-mobile.com with the subject "ADHD Planner data deletion", from the email address you signed in with. We will delete it, together with your subscription record at RevenueCat, within 30 days and confirm by email. Purchase records that Google Play and we are required to keep for tax and legal purposes may be retained for as long as the law requires. Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in Google Play first.

7. Security
All data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit, and our server functions accept requests only from verified copies of the app on behalf of a valid app identifier. No transmission over the internet or storage method is entirely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Permissions
Microphone: requested only when you tap the microphone button to dictate; typing works without it.
Notifications: used for task reminders and to show the running focus timer.
Foreground Service: keeps a focus timer you started running, with a visible notification, while you use other apps.
Run at Startup: restores your reminders after the device restarts.
Vibration and Internet: used for timer feedback and for the online features described above.
You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in system settings.

9. Children's Privacy
ADHD Planner is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Choices and Rights
You can use the app without signing in with Google, choose not to use AI features or dictation, manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play, and turn off notifications in system settings. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
