Privacy Policy — MotionCalm

Effective date: July 31, 2026
App: MotionCalm (com.dreamteammobile.motioncues)
Developer: DreamTeam Mobile

Summary

MotionCalm has no user accounts, no advertising, and no tracking across apps or websites. No sensor data, no motion data and no location data ever leaves your device.

Two things are sent. Anonymous usage analytics: two counters recording that the cue was switched on or off, and which "When to run" option was picked — so we can tell which options people actually use. Crash reports: if the app crashes, a diagnostic report so we can fix it. Neither contains anything about you, anything about your journeys, or any advertising identifier. See "Analytics and crash reporting" below.

Handled on your device only

No location

The app does not use GPS or any location service, and does not request location permission. It determines that you are travelling from motion and activity signals alone, never from where you are.

Analytics and crash reporting

The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics.

Analytics reports exactly two events:

| Event | What it records | | --- | --- | | cue_toggled | That the cue was switched on, or off | | activation_mode_selected | Which "When to run" option was chosen — "Auto" or "Always on" |

Alongside these, the Firebase SDK attaches its standard technical context: a randomly generated app instance identifier, your device model, operating-system version, app version and coarse country-level region. We have switched off the SDK's advertising-ID collection and its cross-device “Google signals" collection, and the advertising-ID permissions are stripped from the app entirely — so the analytics cannot be linked to any advertising profile or used to track you between apps.

Never sent, by either: accelerometer or gyroscope readings, activity-recognition results, location of any kind, anything about your screen contents, and any information capable of identifying you personally.

Crash reporting sends a diagnostic report when the app crashes or freezes: the stack trace, the app and operating-system version, the device model, and how long the app had been running. It is generated automatically by the crash itself and contains no sensor, motion, location or personal data. Its purpose is solely to let us find and fix the fault.

Data is processed by Google as our processor; see Google's privacy policy at <https://policies.google.com/privacy>. To stop all of this, uninstall the app.

Sharing and sale

We do not share or sell any data. Nothing goes to any third party other than the Google Analytics processing described above, and there is no advertising or data-broker involvement of any kind.

Children

The app is rated for ages 6 and over and is suitable for a general audience that includes children.

It collects no personal data from anyone, children included. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no in-app purchases and no social or messaging features, and it requests no advertising identifier — the advertising-ID permissions are stripped from the app entirely. The only data leaving the device is the anonymous analytics and crash reports described above, which contain nothing capable of identifying any user of any age.

Your rights

The analytics and crash reports described above are anonymous and are not tied to your identity, so we hold no personal data to access, correct, export or delete, and we could not connect a record to you if asked. Uninstalling the app removes its settings from your device and stops all reporting.

Medical disclaimer

MotionCalm is a comfort and prevention aid, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness. If you experience severe or persistent motion sickness, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
